#TheReadingQuest Sign Up Post

#TheReadingQuest is a reading challenge hosted by Aentee @ Read at Midnight. You can  see the sign up post here.

Basically you are a video game character and you must conquer your TBR!

The genius who made all these graphics is  CW of Read, Think, Ponder, I won’t make a character card, I don’t have access to Photoshop right now. Maybe later.

If you’re doing this challenge too, Lauren @ Wonderless reviews has made an awesome spreadsheet for keeping track of the points, you can take a look and make yourself a copy here.

The character I have chosen is the Knight. Not sure if I’ll finish the character path but I have chosen some books for the Rogue path as well. Making TBRs for challenges is fun. I’ll need a whole lot of snacks to get through all of these books.

The first book of a series Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jaclyn Moriarty

a book with a verb in its title Beatle Meets Destiny by Gabrielle Williams

a book with a weapon on its cover A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

a book with a red cover The King of Whatever by Kristen Murphy

a book that has a TV/Movie adaptation Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J. K. Rowling

a banned book Charlotte’s Web by E. B. White

a book cover with a partially obscured face The Disenchantments by Nina LaCour

a book with <500 ratings on GoodReads Saltwater Moons by Julie Gittus

a book published by a small press Saving Jazz by Kate McCaffrey

a book with a one word title Countless by Karen Gregory

Optional Challenges

Potions: a book concocted by 2+ authors Joel and Cat Set the Story Straight by Nick Earls and Rebecca Sparrow

Grind: a book with 500+ pages Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers

Respawn: read a book you previously DNF The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Animal Companion: book referencing an animal in the title Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt

Expansion: read a companion novel or short story Where the Shoreline Used to Be (Anthology)

Time Warp: a book set in either the past or the future The Girl From Snowy River by Jackie French

Chat with me!

Are you participating too? Any other Knights out there? Which book are you planning to read first? What is your favourite food to snack on while you read?

    1. Of course! The spreadsheet is awesome, now I can spend less time working out the maths and more time reading!!
I watched the movie a month or so back, I’m hoping I like the screenplay too!

    1. I hope you do too! I’m so excited to read ACOWAR but also a little terrified to find out what happens. I hope your books are all excellent choices. Forgive Me Leonard Peacock sounds interesting, it might end up on my TBR
